Philosophy
Little Jacks Corner in Williamsport, Maryland advocates for the whole child... emotional, intellectual, and physical. Each child has a natural sense of wonder and curiosity. Giving the right environment that children can become creative thinkers, resourceful problem-solvers and grow into interesting, well-rounded individuals in society. Our trained teachers and staff provide a safe and nurturing environment to stimulate growth and creativity in your child, while cultivating an appreciation for culture, self, and community.
Little Jacks Nutrition
Little Jacks Corner provides a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. Lunch is served with a side of fruit or vegetables. Twice a week we ensure those fruits and vegetables to be fresh. Milk is delivered weekly from Deliteful Dairy, a local dairy in Williamsport and served with lunch. Our food is prepared in the center’s commercial kitchen where sanitation is always implemented. Children can have a packed lunch in place of eating the center’s provided lunch. Our staff will provide the child supplemental healthy foods if a child’s packed lunch from home does not contain a nutritious food choice. Children with food allergies have their allergy information posted in each room as well as in the kitchen where meals are prepped. Every Wednesday, lunch concentrates on a country or origin with serving a traditional meal from the country that is the centers monthly multicultural focus.
